How are you going with your new year, & indeed new decade, dear yogis? It's always an exciting time isn't it.. the new year equals a chance to start again, wipe the slate clean and dream big. But then by about the 2nd week or so (for some!) reality sets in, the alarm clock rings early for the day ahead, people at work begin to annoy you, people start cutting you off in traffic.... you know, LIFE happens and doesn't always go your way!
So how can you maintain your grace and love when there are situations around you that frankly make it almost impossible to do so?
Some interesting questions along these lines were raised on my fave new website,
37 Days, which have inspired this post. So is your 'grace maintainer' biting your tongue and counting to 10? Or would it change things if you were to forgive someone around you?
"Forgiveness does not change the past, but it does enlarge the future" (Paul Boese)
Can you love the unlovable person/thought/action around you? How would it change YOU if you could do this? How would it change the situation?
Food for thought. x
