I've been reading a lot about adrenal fatigue and whatnot over the past 2 years, trying to get through this yucky time. Last week I came across a book that was a long time coming - I almost cried as Dr Libby explained exactly what I was going through and offered some great insights, in
Rushing Woman's Syndrome. Whether you are battling fatigue or simply just can't find enough hours in the day to do everything on your list, this book will be amazing for you.
Basically, Dr Libby (an Aussie!) describes the biochemical and emotional effects of constantly being in a rush, and the health consequences that this elicits. Wowser, it's pretty interesting and full on, and I devoured it over the weekend (after highlight so many pages!).
I am on another round of adrenal support herbs and supplements after finding a naturopath who totally seems to understand, believe and have experience with adrenal fatigue, and it's a grand relief to feel like I'm on the right path again.
Many of the test results I've been getting back lately just don't make sense (to me, or her!) so we are in this together - I feel supported and inspired, and that's been a long time coming :)
So off to bed I go, whilst I re-read my new fave book :)
